Australia: Internship:
Website Development
We can offer an attractive internship to committed students. The project would start in January 2011 and includes a period of 2 weeks in Wendlingen gathering background information followed by 5-6 months in the Marketing Department in Dandenong South/Melbourne, Australia (www.festool.com.au):
Your tasks:
- Gathering information from TTS subsidiaries in Europe regarding the implementation process of the new website platform
- Analyzing the process to ascertain how the project can be smoothly implemented: planning & preparation, coordination, duplicating/ modifying existing work to suit the Australian project etc.
- Assisting in the modification of the project plan to suit the Australian implementation project
- Interfacing with external suppliers as required
- Writing/ troubleshooting HTML code as required
- Assisting in the creation of an On-Line Shop platform
- Creating / editing web content
- Setting a separate web site with unique local content
Our requirements:
- Studies of business administration, industrial engineering or similar, with a specialisation in marketing or marketing research preferred
- A strong background in website creation & design and good Photoshop skills
- Proficiency in HTML and experience in creating websites, ideally websites with on-line shop platforms
- Good language skills in English
- An outgoing and communicative character
- You enjoy working with an international team and have the ability and willingness to adapt to other cultures
- A demonstrated high level of commitment and personal responsibility during your studies and you will have the ability to work on your own with minimal supervision
- You have to provide a letter from your educational provider, advising that the practical experience, research or observation is a requirement of the course of study.
